Activities

A programme of 1 hour sessions. Chair exercise, Singing for Fun & Wellbeing are amongst the many activities planned.

What Can I Get Involved In?

Chair Exercise: a low impact class you can enjoy sitting down, which is perfect for improving balance and strength. Followed by tea, coffee and good conversation.

Singing for fun & Wellbeing: it’s well known that singing raises your spirits. Join us for a rousing hour of popular song. We’ve been belting out an eclectic mix from ABBA, The Beatles through to Judy Garland. New songs added all the time. It doesn’t matter if you are tone deaf – just come along and have fun.  Followed by tea, coffee and good conversation.

We are always on the look out for opportunities to grow the activities on offer. If you would like to suggest a new activity, or even come and help run one, then please get in touch.

John Jackson

“Volunteer driving is a life line for me.  My wife of 63 years died last summer, and for a time I was lonely and bereft.  I was welcomed with open arms by VASA and now drive 3 times a week at the age of 82.  This is a vital service to the community which has made a huge difference to my life!”
