We Need You

Volunteering should be enjoyable and rewarding so come and join our friendly team working In South Warwickshire. Have you got a little bit of spare time? We appreciate as much time as you can give and have times available to suit you.

We have a number of voluntary roles available:

Volunteers Drivers
We take clients for medical appointments or to groups and activities to help overcome social isolation. We need drivers from all areas in South Warwickshire. You can choose to do as many journeys as you like each month. 45p mileage costs paid.  Areas covered: Stratford, Alcester, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Kenilworth, Southam, Shipston & the surrounding villages.

Telephone Operators
We need volunteers to help answer the phones for our Community Transport Service. You’ll be taking calls, entering details on a computer and be part of a lively group in our Stratford or Shipston offices. Full training given. Perfect if you have a spare morning or afternoon each week!

Activity Hosts & Helpers
We would like to offer a wider range of activities for older people in the area. We currently run Singing for Fun, Chair Exercise, Tea, Chat & Games and number of lunch clubs every month. Have you or your friends got a hobby that others might enjoy? We are on the look out for volunteers to lead fun and uplifting sessions. Or just come along and help. Most groups are held monthly.

Fundraising & Events
We plan several quirky fundraising activities each year. We are a very small team and need volunteers to join our Events Committee to help in the planning and promotion of our fun fundraising events and ideas.

We think great company and good old-fashioned cooking is important in life! We run a number of Lunch Clubs and are looking for volunteer cooks so we can offer more lunches across the district.

Do you enjoy cooking? We are looking for someone who would enjoy cooking a nutritious, hearty meal for up to 20 people plus pudding. All expenses covered. These lively lunches are enjoyable and very important to help overcome social isolation and loneliness within the community.
