What kind of opportunities are there?

There is a huge variety of volunteering opportunities on offer - voluntary organisations and community groups are always looking for help.

- Helping a child to read
- Teaching a disabled child to read
- Supporting a young person in crisis
- Helping at a play group
- Helping at a youth club
- Driving a minibus
- Taking people to hospital appointments in your car
- Helping at a day centre
- Laying tables, washing up or cooking at lunch clubs
- Giving relief to a full time carer
- Befriending someone in need
- Raising funds for an organisation
- Helping a group with admin or computing
