Nominations for the OneFamily Foundation Community Awards are open until Wednesday 26th October 2016 (close at Midday).
The number of awards available have almost doubled with a total of £360,000 up for grabs and OneFamily have introduced an entirely new category, Developing Skills.
New category – Developing Skill
This new category will enable individuals to acquire skills that will benefit the wider community. The award will fund the training costs of seven people and provide them with funding of up to £5,000 each. The winners will be decided by a public vote.
Updated category – Education
OneFamily have split this category into two groups; those with fewer than 500 students, and those with more than 500 students. Don’t be fooled by the name, this award is open to all centres of education, not just schools, and is designed to benefit projects that support full or part-time education.
How do they work?
OneFamily customers with active policies can nominate projects for a Community Award of up to either £5,000 or £25,000.
Each nomination is reviewed by a member of our customer engagement team and once they’ve been approved, the nominated projects enter a public vote. Winners are announced on Wednesday 14th December once all of the votes have been verified.
