GIVING BACK

Giving back comes in many forms, not just cash donations! You can volunteer your time on a project or in our offices, set up a community project, fundraise, research, lobby or simply donate saleable items. Get involved! All donations go into the Stratford on Avon District communities. Every penny helps us offer carer respite services, community activities, community transport, recruit local volunteers, and set up community services.

Volunteer

Volunteering your services is giving back. You may have a skill or experience that will benefit others. Donating items for resale to raise funds or hosting a fundraising event is a great way to give back. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. If you’re stuck for ideas, contact us!

Try Fundraising

Fundraising can be fun if you set up an event. You can use Do-It to set up an event too. A fundraiser can be as simple as an afternoon tea party where you ask for a donation to your cause or, more complicated, such as a fundraising big walk, jjumping out of a plane or yoga marathon. It’s easy, sociable and it’s fun!

Introduce Us

Introduce our organisation to someone you know who could help further our cause in Stratford District. It could be the company you work for, a donor, an individual who would like to volunteer, someone with an idea, someone who wants to start a community group or a community service.

Talk About Us

We’re good at shouting about ourselves but what really helps us is when you do it for us! Connect with us on social media and share. Give us a link on your website. Write an article or relevant post for our blog or one about us on yours.  Place an advert in a parish or community paper for us.
