Dear Third Sector friends and colleagues
We are asking for applications from people who would like to represent Warwickshire’s Third Sector on a partnership group with Public Sector agencies.
The closing date for applications is Thursday 14 May.
The Group will be made up of 8-10 Third Sector representatives and the same number of officers from Warwickshire’s Public Sector bodies (District and Borough Councils, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and the County Council).
It is expected that the Group will meet several times a year, and that it will focus on bringing about stronger working relations and opportunities across the sectors. The Terms of Reference for the Group will be agreed when it starts to meet.
Representatives sitting on the Group will need to be willing and able to commit to taking an active role, and to prioritise attending the meetings. They will be expected to represent a wide variety of interests, and to commit to both sharing information widely and bringing issues to the Group on behalf of those they are representing.
The WCC Localities and Partnerships Team is running the nomination process on behalf of the Third Sector working group, which came together after our March event. Where there are more applications than places available on the partnership group, or where there are gaps in the representation of sections of the Third Sector, the Sector working group itself will choose the representatives. In the event that a selection process is needed we will make sure that you know how the process will work.
A short application form is attached. Anyone wanting to apply to be a Third Sector representative needs to complete the form and return it to me by Thursday 14 May.
If you would like more information on anything here do please contact me.
