The wait is over!!!. Welcombe Radio now have a fabulous studio in the new Stratford Samaritans Community Hub with all the equipment needed to produce and broadcast. Spread the news.

Whether you want to actually present a programme or volunteer as ‘back room’ support,  they are now in the position to start training, developing and producing the programs.

They would like to invite you to meet them informally on Friday 3rd June after 1.30pm. You can just come in and see us and/ or commence your training. There are two training sessions that day one from 2.pm to 5pm and 6pm to 9pm at Tyler House (see address below).

Training on the use of the equipment will be given by ‘Max’ (the lead of the company who supplied the equipment and his team) there will also be two further training days yet to be agreed. At a later date there will be training on how to set up a programme etc, for those like me who are novices.

Come and have a ‘cuppa’ with Annette and Penny to discuss your interests and the programs you would like to broadcast for our local community and take part in the training we offer.

They hope to see you there!
