WCC has launched the community computers scheme 2015. There are a total of 20 laptops per area (20 for Stratford and 20 for Warwick District). An application form is available in this article. The closing date is 13th of November 2015.

Who can apply?

Locally based community or voluntary organisations.  This includes Town and  Parish Councils, who can apply for community focused projects (not for administration of the Town/Parish Council).

Small-scale groups who have little or no IT equipment, and can show how it will be used to grow their organisation.

Groups who do not have significant reserves or other resources

Application forms are available to download from this link

http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/warwickareafunding

Please note: All laptops, no desk tops. Only 1 computer per group

Parish Councils must demonstrate that the computer will be used for community focused work and not their own admin work.

Successful applicants must log on within the 3 month warranty period to ensure the validity (last year some groups didn’t log on for 6 months and caused ICT a few problems).

If you know of a group without access to a PC just give call the number below and a hard copy will be sent to them.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Anita if you need any further information.
