The launch of this year’s Warwickshire County Council, Councillor Grant Fund (Stratford District) took place on Monday 13 July 2015.  The scheme is administered locally by the Southern Area Team.  Amanda Wilson Patterson is the main contact for the fund, contact details below.

The purpose of the fund is to help communities address issues of local concern to them.  It is primarily aimed at community and voluntary organisations and provides grants of £5,000 per Councillor (ideally up to 4 projects per councillor in order to keep administration costs to a minimum, but there is flexibility in this if there is a significant demand for more projects to be funded) for small-scale projects meeting community needs.  Applications for funding should normally be supported by the Councillor for the electoral division in which the project is based.

Town and Parish Councils are also eligible to apply to the fund for a community project, but this will be at the discretion of the County Councillor and will vary according to their preference.

If you wish to apply, a hard copy of the completed and signed application form below should be returned to the address stated on the form by 5pm on Friday 9 October.  All of the applications will then be evaluated and recommendations made to the Councillor for the division.  All applicants will be informed of the outcome of the Councillors’ decisions by early December.

Further information on funding opportunities in Warwickshire is available from and from VASA.
