This Group was set up last July to focus on bringing about stronger working relationships and building opportunities across the third and public sectors.
The launch remit invited applications from people who would like to represent various elements of Warwickshire’s Third Sector and the group is now made up of twelve Third Sector representatives and the same number of officers from Warwickshire’s Public Sector bodies (District and Borough Councils, Clinical Commissioning Groups, Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, and the County Council).
Meetings are every three months (since July 2015), and due to a number of colleagues leaving their roles, they now have three vacancies for representatives from the Third Sector whose main area of interest is as follows:
Children and Young People
Representatives sitting on the Group will need to be willing and able to commit to taking an active role, and to prioritise attending the meetings. They will be expected to represent a wide variety of interests, and to commit to both sharing information widely and bringing issues to the Group on behalf of those they are representing.
Are you interested in joining the group? If so, a short application form is attached, along with a role description and the terms of reference for the Group.
The date of the next TAPSPG meeting is on 29th June, so we would ideally like new representatives to be in place by then. So please complete and return the application form Applications should be in by Monday 9th May at the latest. If you would like to talk informally about the roles (if that would be helpful), please contact Jenny Murray on the number below
