Volunteers are needed for the following roles:

Voluntary Action Stratford-on-Avon District – Volunteer Drivers.  Do you have the time, care and patience to become a Volunteer Driver?  This essential service provides transport to hospitals, doctors and day centres, and is a lifeline to many people.  An allowance of 45p per mile is paid for authorised journeys.

The Shakespeare Hospice – Marshals.  Volunteers are needed for the sponsored dog walk taking place on the Recreation Ground on Saturday 9 May.  Marshals will need to be in place from 1pm to 4pm.  All proceeds from the event will go to the Hospice. 

Warwickshire and Northants Air Ambulance – Stratford Shop Volunteers.  Get involved with a variety of retail activities, with the benefit of full training and a great team of people.  Duties will include sorting through goods ready for display, serving customers and keeping the shop environment clean, tidy and welcoming.

ECO Workshop CIC – Support Volunteers and Administrator.  Support volunteers are needed to guide and enable participants to reach their potential in performing work based activities.  An administrator is needed to assist with tasks including answering the telephone, dealing with correspondence and inputting data.

Alveston Juniors Badminton Club – WordPress Website Developer.  This thriving club is looking for someone with WordPress experience to help develop the club’s existing website and also to help create a second website dedicated to the club’s younger section.   The role is expected to be based at the volunteer’s home.

Springfield Mind – Various Roles. Fundraisers are needed to raise money in the community, research grant funders and talk to local businesses.  Office volunteers are needed to help with admin tasks and answering the phone.  Hub volunteers are needed to provide a safe and welcoming place for people with mental ill health.
