Volunteers are needed for the following roles:

Voluntary Action Stratford-on-Avon District – Volunteer Drivers.  Do you have the time, care and patience to become a Volunteer Driver?  This essential service provides transport to hospitals, doctors and day centres, and is a lifeline to many people.  An allowance of 45p per mile is paid for authorised journeys.

Springfield Mind – Mind Over Matter Volunteers.  Volunteers are needed to work with individuals living with or at high risk of developing mental ill health, to change their mindset about health.  Volunteers can work in three areas: drop-in workshops, mobile support champions (car needed) and weekly walks.

Healthwatch Warwickshire – Enter and View Authorised Representatives.  Volunteers are needed to participate in Enter and View activities for health and social care services.  The role will include preparing for visits, undertaking visits with 2 other Authorised Representatives, reporting and following up visits.

Sunny Side Up – Teaching Computer Skills.  Meeting on a Tuesday afternoon in central Stratford, this steadily expanding group is looking for additional volunteers. The sessions cover email, searching and buying online, Word or equivalent including Mac, online security, photo storage and editing, downloading apps and books.

 Stratford District Sports Awards 2016 – Event Volunteers.  Get involved with one of the highlights of the local sporting calendar by volunteering at next year’s awards.  Stewards and helpers are needed on 22 January, meeting and greeting attendees, signing them in, showing them to their places and generally helping out.

Voluntary Action Stratford-on-Avon District – Office VolunteersWe are looking for people to help out in our busy, friendly office.  Tasks can include taking bookings for volunteer transport journeys, phoning volunteer drivers and greeting people at reception.  Good people skills, phone skills and IT skills needed.
