Warwickshire Children and Voluntary Youth Services

Wednesday, 27 January 2016 from 10:00 to 16:30 (GMT)

Central Park, Rugby, United Kingdom

Community and Events fundraising can be a great way to involve lots of different people in your charity’s fundraising and engage your local community as a whole. It can raise awareness for your cause in a fun way, reaching new audiences and a wider potential new supporter base. However it needs to be planned and managed well to ensure that the potential for this area of fundraising is maximised. This course will help you to develop your community and events fundraising programme.

The event does cost £25 to attend

HELP NEEDED

We do need Volunteer Drivers across the whole of the District.

This is a service for which demand is ever growing – helping people without cars or practical access to other transport to get to medical appointments. We have offices in Alcester, Shipston, Southam and Stratford such is the local need across all aprts of our District.

For more info CLICK HERE

If you have Bid Writing skills, you could volunteer to help one of several groups who don’t have this skill base. Please call 01789 298102 if this is a ‘forte’.

A significant grant fund has just been awarded across the whole of the District, to help people who aren’t ‘connected’ become much more able to use computers and smartphones. If you could be a ‘Digital Champion’ we’d love to hear from you – there will be opportunities in Stratford and in Bearley immediately available – for full details CLICK HERE
