Heritage Open Days are a national festival which allows attractions and other hidden gems to open to the public for free.

At Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park you can:

Take a trip down memory lane by exploring our Britain in the Fifties and BBC Faces of Comedy exhibitions and see our stunning permanent collections including ancient Chinese bronzes, the UK’s largest Folk Art collection, British Portraits and more.

We’re putting on extra activities as part of Heritage Open Day, so come and enjoy:

* Textile Workshop demonstrations
* Discover our Parkland and Allotment with our Grounds Manager
* Curator’s Tour of exhibitions at 12noon
  Collection Tours at 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm
* Exhibition Tours at 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3pm
* Capability Brown Tours throughout the day
* Outdoor learning at our Forest School
