After leading social action and volunteering across the UK for the last 52 years, CSV has some very exciting news that we would like to share with you.
Over the last year we have been busy working with our stakeholders to ensure that our name and brand continues to work hard for us after all these years. During this process it was great to hear that we are highly regarded by those who know and work with us. Yet it became clear that there are many thousands of others who do not know who we are and for whom our name doesn’t express what we do or why we do it.
As you will know we are a growing, ambitious charity and we want to make sure that the invaluable work we do, through recruiting, training and supporting our volunteers to power change, spreads into even more communities across the country.
That’s why we want to ensure that our charity is in the best position to continue to lead UK volunteering for the next 52 years and beyond. We believe that the time is right for us to evolve and focus on our four areas of work; young people, older people, disabled people and families and re-launch CSV under a new, modern and dynamic name.
I’m delighted to be able to share with you that from Monday 27th April, CSV will re-launch as VOLUNTEERING MATTERS, reflecting our current status and future ambition to lead UK volunteering in policy and practice.
In reality this name change will be a seamless transition for you as an important stakeholder, as our everyday work will be unaffected. Similarly all administrative details such as our charity number will remain the same. The new exciting things we can’t wait to show you include our new website, video and social media platforms so join us in the conversation as to why VOLUNTEERING MATTERS to you.
I want to personally take this opportunity to thank you for your involvement with CSV and I look forward to continuing to partner with you as VOLUNTEERING MATTERS. If you have any queries about how our new name might affect you please speak to your current CSV contact or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
