Your chance to join the new regional Third Sector Forum

Regional Action West Midlands (RAWM) is inviting applications from people in the VC sector to join the new Third Sector Strategic Forum set up to influence top-level decision making in the region.

The Forum’s remit will focus on working with the Joint Strategy and Investment Board (JSIB) – the body responsible for policy and investment in the West Midlands from April 2010.

The forum’s inaugural meeting will take place on March 24, and it is likely to meet six times a year. Members will be expected to attend JSIB and local VCS forums as well.

Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate “a proven leadership role within the West Midlands Third Sector, combined with distinctive ambassadorial influencing and networking skills.”

The forum will have 15 members and if there are more than 15 applicants RAWM will hold an election.

The closing date for applications is January 22.
