Over 50 major charities have signed up to a new website that aims to raise millions of pounds for the voluntary and community sector.

Charities of any size will be able to upload videos about their fundraising projects onto the See the Difference site, and donors can search for initiatives that they are interested in and donate online.

Its sponsors say the new website is “innovative and cost effective”, “will modernise how charities communicate with potential donors” and could generate new income from a younger audience.

Major businesses such as Microsoft, EMC and McCann Erickson are backing it.

The site will launch this winter, and organisations can register for a briefing on 020 7600 3798 or at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)
