Victim Support Warwickshire achieves the Louder than Words Charter Mark

Louder than Words is a prestigious charter mark that shows best practice towards people who are deaf or hard of hearing.  A nationally recognised award, Louder than Words demonstrates that organisations offer an accessible service to employees and service users who are deaf or hard of hearing and that their needs are taken seriously.

Victim Support has ensured that staff are trained in deaf awareness, induction loops are available in offices and the use of SMS/text and Text Relay has been promoted.  Procedures and practices have been reviewed to ensure inclusivity with the deaf community.  This has enabled Victim Support to tailor its services to suit individual needs more effectively.
