Are you thinking about using a quality standard but don’t know where to start?  Or would you like to give your organisation a free health check?

Many organisations would like to use a quality standard, but are put off by the huge range on offer.  G:up has produced a new, free Self Assessment Toolkit which helps guide you through the maze of quality standards available and enables you to assess your organisation’s performance in 14 key work and governance areas.

Download it free from the G:up website: http://www.gup.org.uk/toolkit

“A simple and straightforward tool”

The case study below shows how useful and easy to use the Self Assessment Toolkit is for organisations.

Angela Richards, Director of Building Futures WM said:

“It didn’t just show us how we were doing, it gave us some ideas about the sorts of quality standards that we could think about implementing.  We’re a small volunteer led project with HUGE! aspirations so anything that gives us a better understanding of how we can strengthen and improve our performance is a big plus.”

Angela really liked the report that the toolkit generates and said that it would inform her new business plan and she would share it with trustees.

Useful for all VCS organisations

Angela added: “I know a lot of small, inner-city BME organisations that would really benefit from using such a simple and straightforward tool…Overall the toolkit is a really useful tool and covers a wide range of work areas so I would actually recommend it to any VCS organisation.”
