Stratford’s LGBT drop-in centre is taking a summer break and will re-open in October.

However, says Julia Phillips VASA Chief Executive, “we will continue to support the LGBT community and if people would like to get together during the summer recess, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me as we will be very happy to facilitate social gatherings or information sessions at any time.

“If you would like to speak to us for any reason during the break, either ontact me on 01789 298115 or Gail Newood or Vic Jones (01926 413611).”

The centre is open monthly at Cox’s Yard, Stratford - providing advice and information to people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transsexual.

Julia adds: “We would also love to hear from anyone with any ideas and suggestions regarding the Drop-In. Some really good suggestions have been written into the ‘suggestions book’ that we have available at each Drop-In, but we are always keen to hear suggestions for improvements or changes to meet the needs of the community more effectively.”
