Changes for District Partnership

Stratford District Partnership is planning changes to the way it works in a move to sharpen its focus on getting results.

The Partnership consists of representatives from the county and district councils, police, health and education, and VASA representing the voluntary and community sector. It is responsible for delivering of the Sustainable Community Strategy.

Two key changes are:

 merging the different work programmes into a streamlined single action plan with specific priorities

 setting up a new and improved performance management system to track progress on the SCS.

The changes come at a time when partnership working across the District is expected to assume greater importance because of budgetary pressures on the local councils and statutory agencies.
