Big Lottery Fund – Community Spaces

The Community Spaces open grants programme, which is managed by Groundwork UK and funded through the Big Lottery Fund, is making its final call to applicants.

Grant awards of between £10,000 - £49,999 are available from Community Spaces to transform or create green open spaces, however the programme will close to stage 1 applications on the 28 January 2011. 

Only community groups in England are able to apply and projects must meet the eligibility criteria – which can be found at the Community Spaces website: http://www.community-spaces.org.uk

The programme is currently encouraging more applications from the West Midlands region and would like groups to have the opportunity to develop a good quality application before the January deadline.

Projects can range from nature trails and outdoor gyms to community gardens and play areas.
