Consultation Event Disability Equality and the Public Sector

Thu 29th Jul 2010

Do you have an interest in how public sector agencies and organisations can better involve disabled people and disability organisations?

The Council of Disabled People Warwickshire & Coventry are organising a number of events across the West Midlands on behalf of the Advantage West Midlands.

There are limited places available for the event on Friday 23 July at the NFU Social Club, Knights Lane, Tiddington.

The event is intended to involve disability organisations and disabled people in the strategic direction of the Agency’s (Advantage West Midlands) work.

Representatives from 20 organisations are invited to the event. Each representative attending the consultation will be paid up to £30 towards the cost of out of pocket expenses. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.

There will also be an opportunity to find out more about the support your organisation could receive from projects run by the Council of Disabled People including the Regional Disability Infrastructure Support Service and the Regional Disability Network.
