Working for the Community

We provide services to help volunteers find suitable opportunities, and assist organisations and community groups in finding volunteers. Stratford-on-Avon District Volunteer Centre is part of a network of centres around the country and is a member of Volunteering England. By working with a wide variety of organisations and groups in the district we are able to develop new opportunities for volunteering.

VASA provides a range of support to community and voluntary organisations to strengthen the sector and ensure that it is well-placed to respond to local issues.

We support and promote volunteering in the local area by helping people who are thinking about volunteering to find a voluntary role that meets their needs, interests, skills, experience and available time.

We also provide volunteers for organisations and community groups through advertising their opportunities and recommending people who are interested in them.
